Alcoholic Gastritis

Alcoholic gastritis is a condition that someone develops if they are heavy drinkers. When someone drinks frequently they will begin having symptoms of gastritis, including nausea, stomach pain, and vomiting. When drinking alcohol is the cause of the gastritis, it will do little good to treat the condition with medicines; the only sure method to help with these symptoms is to stop drinking.

When someone has alcoholic gastritis what has happened is that the walls of the stomach are irritated and may also become inflamed and bleed. There are specific symptoms that come with this condition and they include stomach pain, nausea, gas, bloating, vomiting, as well as a feeling of burning in the stomach.
